SharePoint

Connected to Dynamics 365

Open and manage customer, opportunity, and case documents from the relevant CRM record, with SharePoint providing the document storage and collaboration capabilities.

Scope & Prerequisites

What We Configure

  • Document management for the selected CRM records.
  • Libraries, folder structure, naming, and record-to-document links.
  • SharePoint access, versioning, and retention requirements.
  • Notes and attachment migration, where separately agreed.

SharePoint access is managed separately from CRM record permissions. We review both permission models and validate access with the intended users.

Finance & Operations

Connected to Dynamics 365 Sales

Connect sales activity with Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management so customer, product, and order information can support the operational process.

Scope & Prerequisites

What We Configure or Extend

  • Customer, account, product, and price mappings.
  • Approved quote and sales-order handovers.
  • Agreed inventory, fulfilment, and invoice information.
  • Validation, failed-transaction handling, and reconciliation.

We select the supported integration approach for your applications and versions, then define which system owns each record. Financial posting remains subject to the agreed ERP controls.

Power BI

Connected to Dynamics 365 data

Turn CRM records into useful sales, service, and management reporting. Agree the measures first, then connect the data and build views people can use.

Scope & Prerequisites

What We Configure or Build

  • Dataverse connections and reusable reporting models.
  • Agreed KPI definitions, dashboards, and drill-down views.
  • Report access, workspace permissions, and row-level security.
  • Refresh schedules, monitoring, and additional data sources.

Import or DirectQuery is selected around the reporting need. Refresh frequency, data permissions, and Power BI sharing or embedding licences are agreed separately.

  • Server-side synchronisation with the supported Exchange setup.
  • Dynamics 365 App for Outlook and record tracking.
  • Selected appointment, contact, and task synchronisation rules.
  • User and queue mailbox setup, testing, and monitoring.

We agree which activity belongs in CRM and validate mailbox permissions and tracking filters. The scope follows supported mailbox and synchronisation capabilities.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Connected to Dynamics 365 Sales

Bring LinkedIn profile and company context into the sales workflow. Help sellers identify relevant people, understand accounts, and find useful connections for an introduction.

What We Configure

  • Sales Navigator controls on the agreed CRM forms.
  • Lead and account insights within the seller's workflow.
  • Supported CRM sync and activity write-back, where enabled.
  • User access, record matching, and team enablement.

The integration requires LinkedIn Sales Navigator Advanced Plus and the appropriate Dynamics 365 licences, or Microsoft Relationship Sales. CRM sync requires a compatible online environment and additional setup.

Sales Navigator remains an available integration. The separate LinkedIn lead-generation capability in Dynamics 365 was deprecated in December 2024.

Connect the Systems That Matter to Your Business.

Your processes may depend on applications outside the Microsoft ecosystem. We design and build connections around the information that needs to move, the decisions it supports, and the people responsible for the work.

Third-Party Platforms, CRMs & ERPs

Connect Dynamics 365 with the applications used by sales, service, finance, and operations. Share agreed customer, product, order, and status information so teams can complete the process across systems.

Legacy & on-Premise Systems

Keep useful existing systems involved in the process. We assess their interfaces, data, access, and operating constraints, then agree a supported connection through APIs, secure gateways, or controlled data exchanges.

Websites, Portals & Mobile Apps

Connect enquiries, appointments, orders, and service requests to the business systems behind them. Give customers, suppliers, partners, or employees access to the information and actions relevant to their role.

Payments, Signatures & Communications

Connect payment providers, signature services, and communication platforms to the agreed business process. Validate events and references before updating an invoice, releasing an order, or triggering the next action.

  2. Agreed measures
  3. Shared reporting

Combine selected CRM, financial, and operational information in Power BI. Agree definitions and access so teams can review pipeline, delivery, and revenue with consistent context.

Agree the Handover. Then Build the Connection.

We involve the people who use and own the systems, test complete business scenarios, and make operating responsibilities clear.

Understand the Process

Identify the task, systems, people, and information involved. Agree what a completed handover looks like.

Define the Connection

Agree mappings, ownership, permissions, timing, exceptions, and the scope of configuration or development.

Build & Validate

Test realistic records, duplicate handling, failed exchanges, and recovery with the teams who will use the result.

Launch & Adopt

Prepare users, documentation, monitoring, and support responsibilities for the transition to everyday use.

Review & Improve

Review the agreed measures and exceptions with your team, then prioritise the next improvements.

Before We Start.

What does Available Integration mean?

It means an integration or supported connection approach is available as a starting point. We still configure it for your applications, data, permissions, licences, and process. Any additional development or migration is agreed in the scope.

Can you connect a system that is not listed?

Yes, we assess third-party, legacy, on-premise, and custom applications. We review the available interfaces and constraints, then propose a practical connection and define what can be delivered.

Will every record synchronise instantly in both directions?

The right approach depends on the process. Some records need a timely event-driven update; others suit scheduled exchanges or a read-only view. We agree the direction, frequency, owner, and conflict rules for each type of information.

Is LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration still available?

Microsoft continues to document Sales Navigator integration with Dynamics 365 Sales, including the required Advanced Plus or Relationship Sales licensing. The LinkedIn lead-generation capability deprecated in December 2024 is a separate feature. We check the current setup and licensing before implementation.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

The systems you use, the task you want to improve, the information that needs to move, and the person responsible for each system. Existing interface documentation and a few example records help us define a useful starting point.

Which Connection Would Make Work Easier?

Tell us where information gets re-entered, a handover slows down, or your team loses context. We will help you identify a practical starting point.
